Thimbleweed was established in Minneapolis in 2021 by Jessica Swanson. A life-long bicyclist and commuter from the city, it didn't take long for her love of sewing and camping to lead her into the world of bikepacking, and she began making her own bags for adventures! After a summer of sewing and biking resulted in a 700-mile solo trip around the state, it became time to turn bike bags into more than just a hobby, and help others get geared up for their own bike adventures.
